Exercise Development

We love exercises and have run some of the largest in the nation.  A good exercise is the crucible to pressure test our systems.  It opens up lines of communications with our first responders, builds relationships and brings the community together for a common purpose in the name of preparedness.   It is the gift that keeps on giving in the months and years to come in the form of lessons learned and building blocks toward continuous improvement.  Let us help you move your security plan beyond the whiteboard as we operationalize it and field test it in the wild!

Exercises that strengthen systems, relationships, and readiness.
We design and deliver exercises that test real capabilities, improve communication across teams, and unite schools and partners around preparedness—resulting in stronger, faster, and more coordinated responses.

What you get:

  • Tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercise design

  • Facilitators, injects, and planning expertise

  • After-action reports and improvement plans

  • Coaching to operationalize lessons learned

If you need to know whether your plans actually work, we create exercises that reveal gaps and build confidence across your entire system.!

Since You Asked - Can exercises be done with trauma informed practices?

100%. Ask us how to incorporate the real-world realism that our first responders need and trauma informed practices with age appropriate levels for other participants. It can be done and has been done. We can walk you through it and give you our take on it!

Remember: Drills are not exercises!
